丹麦引领动物福利之路

          DENMARK - As Denmark is becoming a leader in animal welfare, agriculture minister, Dan Jørgensen,has announced a major international conference.

　   "Yesterday I made a joint declaration on animal welfare in the EU, together with Germany and the Netherlands, and this conference should be the next step towards better animal welfare. We have in recent years seen that we can go far at the negotiating table if we want to," said Mr Jørgensen. Last year, he signed a historic pig action plan with the industry and animal welfare organisations and he hopes that he can use this experience to make progress on animal welfare at the international level.He said: "I have great expectations that the recognized international experts who gathered for the conference will come up with good and useful suggestions on how internationally we can create the necessary welfare improvements."

　　The conference 'Improving pig welfare - what are the ways forward?' takes place on 29 and 30 April 2015.

　　丹麦——丹麦在动物福利方面正成为领军人物，丹麦农业部长Dan Jørgensen,宣布召开了一次重大国际会议。

　　“昨天我在欧盟和德国、荷兰发布了一个关于动物福利的联合声明，这次会议应该是向更好的动物福利又迈进了一步。近年来,我们看到, 如果我们想去做，我们可以在谈判桌上达成更多意向,”Jørgensen先生说。去年,他联合行业和动物福利组织签署了一项具有历史意义的猪行动计划，他希望他可以以此经验在国际层面上的动物福利方面取得进展。他说:“我满怀期望，国际公认的专家聚集一堂，对如何国际性地创建必要的福利改善，将提出好而实用的建议。”

　　以“提高猪的福利——向前的途径是什么?”为主题的会议将于2015年4月29日和30日举行。
