欧盟还可以在打击食品浪费方面做得更好

　　EU - Although a number of EU policies have the potential to combat food waste, their potential is not being exploited, according to a new report from the European Court of Auditors.Current estimates indicate that, globally, around one third of the food produced for human consumption is wasted or lost.In their report, the auditors examined EU action taken so far to reduce food waste and how the various policy instruments work. They found that the EU had not contributed to a resource-efficient food supply chain by combating food waste effectively.

　　根据欧洲审计局(European Court of Auditors)公布的一篇新报告显示，尽管欧盟出台了许多打击食品浪费的有力政策，但是他们的潜力没有被充分发掘。当前的预估报告显示，人类消费的食品总量有三分之一在全球范围内被浪费或丢弃。在他们的报告中，审计人员检查了，欧盟从目前为止为了减少食品浪费和让各种政策手段行之有效所采取的手段。他们发现，欧盟并未有效的打击食品浪费，因此没有促成一个资源节约型的食品供应链。
