美国食品监管机构发问“什么食品是天然的”

　　US - The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking consumer opinions and comments on what 'natural' should mean on a food label.The term 'natural' is used on many different foods, but it is not always clear what it actually means, unlike the term 'organic' which is strictly regulated.The FDA said that a formal definition of the term had not been established. However, the FDA currently considers the term “natural” to mean that nothing artificial or synthetic (including all colour additives regardless of source) has been included in, or has been added to, a food that would not normally be expected to be in that food.

　　美国食品和药品管理局(FDA)正在搜集消费者的意见，让消费者评论食品标签上“天然”的意义。“天然”一词使用在许多不同的食品上，但是它并不总是像实际含义一样表达的十分清楚，不像“无机”一词，可以被明确规定的含义。美国食品和药品管理局(FDA)称“天然”这个词并不是正式定义的术语。然而，美国食品和药品管理局(FDA)目前认为“天然“一词的含义不能用在任何人造的或已经列明的合成物(包括所有染色剂)，这些已经添加合成物的食品也不能列为“天然的”食品。
