红肉制癌报告后牲畜期货走低

　　US - Livestock futures were lower on Friday and then again on Monday, and this was attributed in part to a report by the World Health Organisation (WHO), write CME analysts Steve Meyer and Len Steiner. The report classified processed meat among substances considered carcinogenic while red meat was classified as probably carcinogenic. At this point it is uncertain as to what sort of demand impact the release of this report and the bombastic headlines that followed it will have on red meat consumption. It is possible that in the very near term we could see some negative impact but there is really no good way to quantify the impact. There have been other reports in the past that have sought to link meat consumption and cancer but the impact on demand appeared to be relatively transitory.
