大豆价格下降，猪肉生产成本降低

　　US - High volumes of soybeans harvested this year and last will lead to price falls, which should benefit pig production, according to Purdue University Extension economist Chris Hurt.Soybean meal is an important but an economically secondary feed ingredient in hog diets compared to corn. Mr Hurt said his estimates suggest that soybean meal costs have been about 22 per cent of the total costs of raising hogs over the past decade, compared to 32 per cent for corn.
