　　CANADA - The vice president pork analysis with EMI Analytics expects the strength of the US dollar to result in extremely strong live hog prices in Canada heading into 2016, writes Bruce Cochrane. Despite higher US slaughter numbers resulting from decreased losses from Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea, US pork producers are expected to remain profitable. Dr. Steve Meyer, the vice president pork analysis predicts Canadian prices are going to be extremely strong, given the strength of the U.S. dollar going into next year.
